Wouldn't you like an email account at work or while you're on vacation that's

Private?

Well, as long as you can log onto the internet from your (or someone else's) computer, you CAN receive private emails.  Wouldn't it be nice to not worry about your boss or anyone else reading your personal emails to and from friends and family?

Well, here's how to do it.

It's as simple as clicking on the 'FREE Email' link here, or anywhere else you see it on our site, and filling out a simple form.  Your information on the form can be as truthful as you want it to be.  In other words, you can use a 'handle' or made up name to help you feel more 'private' if you want.  You can even open multiple accounts under different names if you want to divide your correspondences that way.  You decide your name, city, state, country, and any other information that you're asked for. You can be anyone living anywhere! It's your choice.

After you've finished filling in the form you'll be taken to an advertising screen that offers you some enhanced features for your new email service.  You can choose any of those offers you want or you can choose none.  If you just want a simple free internet mailbox to send and receive emails, you just go to the bottom of that page and click on 'Go to Inbox'.  You'll find a short welcoming message from me waiting for you. Click on the yellow envelope icon to read it.  You can then save it delete it, file it in a folder, or whatever you want.  If I were you, I'd delete that one.   :-)  Any emails you receive to your new address can be saved, deleted, etc.   You can set up new folders for each of your friends, for each company you're dealing with, etc.  It's pretty cool!

Now, use it!
Now you're ready to give your new address to friends and family, use it when filling out any forms on the internet or on paper that ask for an email address, etc.  Why give out your own home private email address when you want to remain a little anonymous?   Don't give salesman your home email address and possibly give them personal information about you that they can find by using that address.
The next time you click 'FREE Email' you'll just have to enter your email name that you used on the signup form, enter your password that you chose when setting it up, and you'll be taken to your personal inbox again.  Nothing to it!

Two cautions for you to think about.
ONE: For those wanting anonymity, you will NOT be totally anonymous using your new email address.  Anyone you send email to from this address will only get that address.   BUT if someone were VERY computer literate and VERY motivated and VERY persistent, they would eventually be able to link your new GryphCom email address back to your email provider and then possibly to your individual computer. That would then give them your true identity.  In order to do that it would take a LOT of expertise and time.   Unless you're doing something illegal I would not worry about that too much.  I don't.
TWO:  If you access your account from your work computer you must realize that there are files in your computer that will save information about where you've been on the internet.  If someone with computer knowledge wanted to look at your History, Recent, Temp, Cookies, and Temporary Internet Files folders under Windows they would be able to tell a lot about your internet habits.  So, either don't worry about it or delete those files after an internet session.

The easiest and most essential thing to do to keep others from viewing your private mail that you've just read is to make sure you exit your browser after your mail session.  If you don't do that, anyone would be able to hit the Back button on the browser and read the mail that you've just read.

Don't Worry, Be Happy.
Just sign up and use it and exit your browser when you've finished.  If you need more security than that you probably will have already done a lot of research on the internet and found a few security programs to help you.
